2. Art History video with guide- Rubens
3. Watch video clip- Masks and Puppets
4. Select a mask mold
5. Design a mask based on pinch pot critter.
6. Demo how make clay slabs

Weekly sketchbook check:
• Due Friday (If you aren’t going to be here Friday, make sure you show it to me on Thursday!)
• Spend a minimum of 15 minutes on your drawing
• Design a video game character of yourself!

2. Mrs. Highsmith will demo how to make 2 pinch pots and how to join the 2 pinch pots together to make a hollow sphere.
3. Students will make 2 pinch pots and join them together to make a hollow sphere.
HOMEWORK:
1. On Tuesday, both drawings of a cityscape are due.
2. On Friday, design for jewelry contest is due.

Today students finished working on their original cityscape drawings. Here are a few examples.

In class today we also talked about our fieldtrip tomorrow. I am super excited and keeping my fingers and toes crossed that it doesn't rain!

2. Explore the Niki de Saint Phalle sculptures via the internet
3. Review resource photos
4. Continue working on original drawing of a cityscape in 2-point perspective

1. Weekly sketchbook check:
• Due Thursday (since we are going on a fieldtrip on Friday!)
• Spend a minimum of 15 minutes on your drawing
• Free Draw (make it a good one!)
2. Reminder: Friday is our fieldtrip to the Mint Museum in Charlotte. Wear comfortable clothes and bring money for a fast-food lunch!
