I hope everyone had a great weekend. We hit the ground running this morning. First, we took guided notes on "Shapes and Forms". Next, we worked as individuals, pods, and a class to create a list of "Things you might see in the ocean". On our list was the expected things sea turtles, sharks, shells, and bubbles. But a new addition to the list this year was "oil". We watched a clip from the BBC series "Planet Earth" on deep oceans. Then we practiced simplifying complex objects into simple shapes.
