The design project that we are doing in class today will help to demonstrate student growth in this area. Students will do this exact same project at the end of the semester. The goal is that the final project will show growth in the students ability to plan and execute a creative design using only simple materials- 3 colors of paper and scissors/glue. After the project, the class took notes on the element of line- the most basic element of art. We also looked a brief PowerPoint to give the class some visual examples of the new vocabulary words learned today.
