Leighanna working on her abstract design.Art II is creating abstract art. We are using images a variety of images from the National Geographic Website. Some images are microscopic others are just beautiful patterns found in nature. We used those photographs in step one-we drew small sketches of the images.
Step two- we took multiple aspects from our sketches and combined them into a new and original abstract design.
Step three- we choose one of the designs we liked and transferred in onto a 9x12 piece of drawing paper.
Step four- (We aren't to this step yet.) Students will add color to their designs with colored pencils.
