As you can see, there are some really cool things going on in the art classroom. But there are also some really cool things going on with art after school...

Art club meets the first and third Mondays of the month. We meet after school in my classroom for 2:30-3:30ish.

In the month of September we meet to set the dates of our meetings and plan out the rest of the year. And boy do we have some exciting things planned.

In October...

We have already made our club t-shirts using Clorox pens. Here are just a couple examples. I can't show you my t-shirt because I love it so much that I am wear it today! We have started working on one of the two murals that we are painting for the English department. This is a picture of the mural in the works. It is going to be a blossoming cherry tree. Savanna and Leighanna have stayed after school each day this week to work on the mural and it is looking fantastic.Next week, Hannah and her team will start work on Mrs. Grelecki's mural. This is Hannah's design for the mural. And on October, 31st, we are going to carve Jack-o-lanterns.

So if come on and enjoy the fun. It is not to late to be come a part of the MPHS art club!
