Reminder: Your drawing of your tiger is due Thursday. This is an example of the HW drawn by DJ.

Speaking of HW, last week's HW was to draw an alien. This is Michael's HW from last week!

Today we learned how to shade an organic figure. This simple activity got our heads, our hands, and our minds warmed-up for the rest of art class.

Then we continued working on our cityscape in 2-point perspective. The students are doing great. Their shading skills have improved, and their confidence in their own abilities has gone up after completing our RR drawing in 1-point perspective.

This is as far as we got today!
Finally, we finished the day off with another storytime. This time we read a book by Eric Carle, one of the artists/illustrators/authors that we will see work by at the NC Art Museum.
