Art History Monday. Today we began class by working on shading a irregular form. We have really been focusing on gradually blending our values to erase all visible lines. Next, we watched the next DVD in our Great Artists series- Raphael. Then, we continued shading our cityscape in 2-point perspective. Our week is off to a great start!

On a side note, we had a great time this weekend at the North Carolina Association of Student Council's State Convention in Asheboro, NC. The students who attended represented MPHS well and are returning home today with lots of great ideas. A big congratulations goes out to my leadership class from last semester. Their hardwork on our leadership video won "Best Soundtrack" at the first-ever student film festival.
