Today we started class by shading a cylinder.

Then we continued working on our RR drawing (sorry it is sideways). We have now finished the railroad tracks and the left side of the page, the telephone poles and shrubs. Tomorrow we will draw the buildings on the right side of the page.
This is the example of how far we progressed in class today.

Katelyn erases a stray line on her telephone pole.

All the students drawings are looking great!
Michael and Tyler carefully shade their telephone poles and shrubs. At the end of class, Tristin explored his creative side. He made a statue out of his kneaded eraser. I told him it reminded me of Giacometti's scuplture series titled "Walking Man."
