We began class today by doing a creative writing assignment based on one of the paintings that we viewed at the Concord Art Gallery on our fieldtrip last Friday. Students were asked to make up a story about a man in a portrait.
Today is "Art History Monday", so we are watching a short video on the German master- Albrecht Durer. Tomorrow we will create a flow chart tracking the progress of art from Giotto to Leonardo to Durer.
With the time remaining in class, students continued working on their black and white cut-out shapes project.
